The weather has certainly started to hint that Autumn is almost at an end and that we are coming into winter. Which means the woolens are starting to come out. If you’re anything like me, knitting happens over the summer but there is just something so comforting about knitting during winter.

Midnight Yarns Winter Yarn Club 2016 is a one month yarn club to be sent out in July 2016, just in time for those wet and cold days where being snuggled up on the couch with your knitting is pure bliss.

How it works:
Sign Ups Open at 8.30pm on Monday 23rd May on my website. There will be a non-refundable $20 deposit per colourway to secure your place.
After purchase, you receive a link from me in which you go through and make your selection of which base and how many skeins you would like to match with the colourway. These selections need to be made and submitted within 7 day of receiving the link then I will set up a link for payment for you. Payment is due in full by the 10th June 2016. Selection cannot be changed after the 10th June due to ordering

  • You can choose from one of two colourways (based off the images below)
  • There will be a choice of two bases:
    • 100% Wool DK 200g/420m $36 per 200g
    • 100% High Twist Merino 4ply 100g/400m $28 per 100g
  • It’s up to you how many skeins you order, you will choose this during the selection process
  • The yarn will be sent out in July. The final colourways will be kept secret until after the yarn has been received as to not spoil the surprise
  • This is a just yarn yarn-club. So yummy yummy yarn will be on it’s way to you but no added goodies in this one
  • Postage is calculated at the checkout when full payment is made. Please contact me in advance if you would like an estimate

I’m very excited to be running a multiple month yarn club! An I hope you’re just as excited as me!

Introducing Treat Your Feet 2016 – Midnight Sock Yarn Club

There will be 4 styles of dyeing and 4 different colour ways over 3 bases. You will get to mix and match the styles with the bases but which colour goes with which will remain a surprise.
Every second month from April until October, you will receive a package. The first month will be a slightly bigger package as there will be a couple of yarnie gifts included and the next 3 packages will be the yarn. There will be no club patterns but I will suggest a couple of patterns each month that will work for the yarn.

The 4 styles of dyeing, in no particular order, will be:
Self Striping
Semi Solid
Speckled
Matching Gradients

The 3 bases on offer are:
Sock – 100g. 4PLY/Fingering Weight. 80% MW Merino 20% Nylon. 357m/390yd per 100gm
Sparkle Sock – 100g. 4PLY/Fingering Weight. 75% MW Merino 20% Nylon 5% Stellina. 400m/438yd
MCN Sock – 100g. 4PLY/Fingering Weight. 80% MW Merino, 10% Nylon, 10% Cashmere. 398m/435yd per 100g

How it works:
Sign Ups Open at 8.30pm on Monday 8th Feb on my website. There will be a non-refundable $20 deposit to secure your place.
After purchase, you receive a link from me in which you go through and make your selection of which base you would like to match with which style. ie: You may choose to have the Self Striping in Sock, the Semi Solid in MCN, and the Speckled and Matching Gradient in Sparkle Sock. These selections need to be made and submitted within 7 day of receiving the link, I will set up a link for payment for you. Payment is due within 7 days or as per the payment plan below

Cost:
Cost will be between $144 and $172, depending on your choice of bases. This includes postage with NZ.
There will be additional shipping costs for Australian and other International countries . Please feel free to contact me in advance for a quote.

The base costs are:
Sock – $23
Sparkle Sock – $30
MCN Sock – $30

The Matching Gradient and Self Striping are slightly more expensive due to the extra work involved in making these

Payment Options:
You can choose to pay in full at the start or pay over 3 months. If you choose to pay over 3 months, the first payment will be 50% due within 7 days, 25% due by 10 March 2016 and 25% due by 10 April 2016. You will be able to select which option you would like in the link you get sent

Bonus
I know sometimes there is a colour that you would just never, never knit with, no matter how much you like to knit. If one of the colour inspirations falls under this category, there will be a space on the form for you to replace one colour with the black and white version of it. Remember that you won’t know what style it falls under until after it’s been sent.
